I saved only a handful of pieces I worked on for the YMCA of Honolulu during my tenure at SLD.
We had already been designing for the Y when they had gone through their national rebranding. While we had to adhere to the national branding standards, SLD added a twist to the design because of Hawai’i’s cultural and diverse ethnic background.
For the Y, SLD also helped coordinate and produce the photo shoots to obtain original photographs of local members. The emails were produced with Photoshop, coded with Dreamweaver, and mailed with Mailchimp. We also worked with the client and the printers to coordiate the printing of personalized mailers that utilized personalized URLs (PURLs) and data acquisition in order to expand the Y’s client base and mailing list.
